3 Doors Down bassist Todd Harrell checked himself into rehab after he was arrested for vehicular homicide, according to his lawyer.

Harrell was driving near Nashville, Tennesse on I-40 when he was involved in an accident that killed Paul Shoulders Jr.  Police said that Harrell admitted to taking prescription drugs and drinking prior to driving.  He spent several days in jail and is now out on $100,000 bond.

Defense lawyer Ed Ryan said that Harrell immediately went to rehab after getting released from jaii.

The band was scheduled to perform in Charlotte at Carolina Rebellion, but have canceled that appearance along with several other dates in the United States.
