30 Seconds to Mars will officially release a new song, Up in the Air, on March 19th.  But, on Friday the band will send the first copy of the song to the International Space Station.

No seriously.

Up in the Air wll be included on a SpaceX cargo mission which will launch from Cape Canaveral.  The band will be on hand to watch the launch.  You can watch it on NASA's website.

On March 18th, the band will chat with space station astronaut Tom Marshburn.  You can watch that on the band's website.

Later this year, 30 Seconds to Mars will release their fourth album.  It will be their first since 2009's This is War.
