In 2012, The Beach Boys reunited to release a new album and tour in honor of their 50th anniversary.  But, after the tour was over, Mike Love decided to continue to tour under The Beach Boys name, but without other Beach Boys.

This led to a very public feud between Love and Brian Wilson.  Wilson said that he felt like he was fired from the band.  Love claimed that he did no such thing.

But, Love does still play with other musicians as "The Beach Boys."  So, Wilson will perform with the other Beach Boys who aren't included in Love's version of the band.  Wilson, Al Jardine, and David Marks will perform two live shows this summer.

Wilson and company will perform at Fraze Pavillion in Kettering, Ohio on July 25 and at Ravina Festival in Highland Park, Illinois on July 26.
