Bruce Springsteen dedicated his song American Skin (41 Shots) to Trayvon Martin at a concert in Limerick, Ireland.

Before playing the song, Springsteen told the crowd, "I want to send this one out as a letter back home.  For justice for Trayvon Martin."

American Skin (41 Shots) was originally inspired by the shooting death of Amadou Diallo.  In 1999, Diallo was shot and killed by New York City Police officers.  The cops believed that Diallo was pulling a gun when he was actually getting his wallet.  They fired 41 shots and he was hit 19 times.  All of the officers were acquitted.

George Zimmerman, who shot and killed Trayvon Martin in 2012, was acquitted of all charges on Saturday.  The entire saga has been a hot button issue across the United States.
