David Bowie surprised fans by releasing new music earlier this week, but he will not tour in support of his upcoming album.  Bowie's producer, Tony Visconti, told NME that not only will Bowie not tour in support of this music, but he will never tour again:

"He’s fairly adamant he’s never gonna perform live again… One of the guys would say, 'Boy, how are we gonna do all this live?' and David said, 'We’re not'. He made a point of saying that all the time."

On Tuesday, Bowie released his first new music in a decade.  On what happened to be his 66th birthday, Bowie unleashed Where Are We Now?  A new album, The Next Day, is coming in March.
