Guns N' Roses Guitarist Advises Musicians to Be on Time
Posted January 2nd, 2013 @ 9:02am

Guns N' Roses has a bit of a reputation of tardiness.  Many of their concerts begin hours after the band is scheduled to perform.  So, it might be laughable to some to hear guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thai advise new bands to "be on time."  In an interview with Metal Hammer Bumblefoot had this advice:

"Be on time. By “on time” I mean “be early.” Make sure you’re there for when you need to be — wait in your car, communicate, let them know 10 minutes early that you’ll be there in five minutes, and walk in five minutes later."

Bumblefoot went on to say that musicians should be capable of learning more than just their part to songs and to "be cool."
