Justin Timberlake sold 968,000 copies of his new album, The 20/20 Experience, in it's first week.  It is his biggest sales week ever as a solo artist.

The big week fell short of Taylor Swift's Red album debut.  Swift sold 1.2 million copies of her album when it debuted in November of 2012.  But, it is the best debut for a male artist since Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III album which sold over 1 million copies in one week in June of 2008.

Timberlake's former group, 'N Sync sold 2.42 million copies of their No Strings Attached album in 2000.  That's the all-time best selling week for any artist.
