For decades, "Yoko Ono" has been a four letter word to fans of The Beatles.  Whenver somebdoy gets in the middle of a group (whether its a group of friends, a band, or anything really), they are called "Yoko."

But, Paul McCartney says that John Lennon's widow is not the reason The Beatles broke up.  Speaking to David Frost McCartney says:

"She certainly didn't break the group up, the group was breaking up."

Paul went on to say that John Lennon would have left the band one way or another and that Yoko opened things up for Lennon.  But, Paul does admit that it was difficult having Yoko in the studio for Beatles recordings.
