A 79-year-old Bob Seger named Evie Branan woke from a five year coma a couple of years ago.  Her first words were, "I want to go to a Bob Seger concert.

Branan will get her wish on Thursday.  She will attend Seger's show at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit and has a special invitation for an after party.

About six years ago, Branan suffered a massive stroke.  Until May 7, 2011, she was unable to speak, move or eat.  One of her aides, Jennifer Hickey, bought the tickets and rented a limo.  She also contacted Seger's management.  Ann Tenbrusch, who works for the company that manage Seger, wanted to make the night special.  Tenbrusch explains:

“(Her story) was definitely nothing I had heard before.  I always want to try to help out with stories like that because Bob loves his fans. It’s such a cool story I just wanted to help out in any way I could.”

What does Branan look forward to doing the most?  She says, "Hugging Bob Seger and giving him a big smooch."
