A ballgirl for the Baltimore Orioles possibly saved a run during the fourth inning of Sunday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

In the top of the fourth inning, designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion ripped one down the third base line.  It was a fair ball, but the ballgirl expertly sprang into action and snagged the baseball.

Because she made the play, the Blue Jays' Adam Lind was forced to stay on third base.  Without the heads up action of the ballgirl, he would have probably scored.

Unfortunately, the ballgirl can't cover the entire field and Lind scored on the next play.
