Anna Faris is as candid as can be about her relationship with cosmetic surgery in her new book, Unqualified, which drops on October 24. In the autobiography, the actress, who recently announced a divorce from Chris Pratt, goes into detail about her history with plastic surgery.
In a new excerpt obtained by The Daily Mail, the actress revealed that she has always felt insecure about her lips, breast, weight, and hands, and it all eventually led her to get breast implants after wearing a "heavily, heavily, heavily padded bra" during the filming of 2008's The House Bunny. "I'd recently ended my first marriage and I was clearly going through a year of revolutionary change—independence and a boob job!" she said of the decision, which she made alongside Pratt.
Elsewhere in the excerpt, Faris recounted her work on her lips. "I started getting lip injections in my upper lip,” she wrote in the book. "I did it for a little bit and I noticed a small difference, but no one else ever said anything. I kept wondering if anybody else even noticed." Eventually, she started to "wean" herself off the procedures when her friends mentioned that her lips were looking too big. It was a procedure she describes as "definitely not the right choice for her."
