Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello Spice Up 'Señorita' At 2019 VMAs

2019 MTV Video Music Awards - Roaming Show

Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes just set the MTV VMAs stage ablaze after debuting "Señorita" live for the first time ever.

Monday night (August 26) saw the musicians link up for a sexy, stripped-down rendition of their chart-climbing hit at the awards show, where Cabello and Mendes had the look of love in their eyes as they serenaded each other in front of thousands of screaming fans. The 22-year-old songbird looked sultry as ever in a dazzling white gown while the Canadian crooner, whose muscles were on full display in a white beater, strummed his acoustic guitar and sang in harmony with his rumored sweetheart.

As the presentation continued, things began to heat up between the singers, who came face-to-face just as their performance was drawing to a close as Cabello clasped onto Mendes' chest and slowly but surely — the moment Shawmila shippers had all been waiting for — teased us with what would have been the hottest kiss of the summer. (But we'll settle for that cute nose tap at the end, though.)

Watch Shawn and Camila debut "Señorita" below.

This year, "Señorita" was nominated in a number of categories tonight including best collaboration, best choreography, best cinematography, best art direction, and unsurprisingly, song of summer. Despite being caught holding hands and locking lips numerous times in the public eye, the alleged couple have yet to confirm or deny their romance.
