Olivia Newton-John is reportedly in critical condition. A source close to the icon says the cancer has spread to the bones of her lower back. “It’s the beginning of the end for Olivia."
“This is her final fight and she promises to go out swinging," the source adds via a radaronline.com report.
“At this point, her goal is to make it to her 70th birthday on Sept. 26th and have a big celebration.”
Newton-John revealed her stage 4 breast cancer diagnosis back in May of 2017. “Her immune system has lost its ability to recognize that cancerous cells are different from her own cells,” explained Dr. Gabe Mirkin, a longevity expert who has not treated Olivia. “This has allowed her cancer to spread to her bones."
We currently have no statement from Newton-John or her own doctor, so we should take this news with a grain of salt.
