CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Authorities responded to a deadly accident involving a pedestrian along Interstate 85 Tuesday morning.
Officials said a person was hit and killed in the southbound lanes near the Glenwood Drive exit.
Troopers said a man ran across the interstate and was hit by a car. He died at the scene.
