Roseanne has been canceled after Roseanne Barr made racist comments in a tweet earlier today. The announcement came Tuesday from Channing Dungey, ABC president of entertainment: "Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values."
Barr's tweet, which was deleted, called a former advisor to Obama "a product of an Islamic group and a character from 'Planet of the Apes'.”
Actress Wanda Sykes then tweeted that she was leaving the show after Barr's hateful comments.
