It's unclear how many people were inside the home at the time of the explosion or how seriously they were hurt. Officials are working to determine how many patients they have.

Firefighters said an active rescue is underway for the residents who were inside.

Officials said they announced a fourth alarm on the fire to call in more manpower, with more than 80 firefighters responding to the scene. No firefighters were hurt.
