CHARLOTTE - Today is a sad day to be a Carolina Panthers fan as it has just been announced that the team and Greg Olsen have mutually agreed to part ways.
The tight end stated in a tweet, "Today, I had the opportunity to sit down with (general manager) Marty Hurney and have a great conversation regarding my future with the organization. The team and I are both on the same page that it is best we go in different directions for now," Olsen said.
Greg has spent nine seasons with the Panthers and is ranked fifth all-time among tight ends in catches and yards.
