The Knights Are Proud to Partner with Atrium Health, Wild Wing Cafe & iHeartRadio to Thank Healthcare Heroes

WHO: Atrium Health, the Charlotte Knights, Wild Wing Cafe and iHeartRadio.

WHAT: The Charlotte Knights are pleased to join one of their founding partners, Atrium Health, as well as Wild Wing Cafe and iHeartRadio for this week’s “Make Noise to Make a Difference” campaign. This week, the Knights will be playing “Sweet Caroline” and “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” on their exterior billboard and ballpark loudspeakers. Those around the Uptown Charlotte area are encouraged to step outside to your balcony and sing along to these two songs as a showing of solidarity. People are also welcome to ring a bell, clap their hands, or cheer at the top of their lungs from anywhere in Charlotte and across the Carolinas. Sweet Caroline will also be broadcast live beginning at 7:00 p.m. on 106.5 The End, 96.9 The Kat, 102.9 The Lake, 99.7 The Fox, and HITS 96.1. More information regarding the “Make Noise to Make a Difference” campaign can be found here

WHY: This initiative began last week to show support and appreciation for all the healthcare heroes who are on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic and are putting their lives on the line for their community. For this, we are asking the public to step outside at the same time, on the same day, and make some noise.

WHEN: 7:00 p.m. until 7:10 p.m. tonight and every Friday during this difficult time. Note: People are encouraged to participate from their homes and not to gather in groups or at the ballpark.

WHERE: Outside of BB&T Ballpark or anywhere in Charlotte and all across the Carolinas.
